The Goldman Sachs Group preferred series D shares (GS-PD) are currently trading at $18.80 per share, per SID market data. The security carries a beta of 1.348, indicating notably higher volatility relative to the broader market, which is somewhat atypical for a preferred equity instrument within the Financial Services sector. The parent company maintains a total market capitalization of approximately $206.4 billion, underscoring Goldman Sachs' position as one of the largest global financial institutions. The preferred shares offer income-oriented investors exposure to Goldman Sachs' credit profile while carrying elevated sensitivity to interest rate movements and broader equity market fluctuations, as evidenced by the above-one beta reading. Volume patterns suggest consistent institutional participation in daily trading activity.
